The New Philosophy of Coffee - What Does It Mean?
Coffee without intermediaries - straight from our plantation to you. From Tree to Cup.
We are the only coffee producer in Poland where we can control the quality and process at every step, from the coffee tree to each pack of coffee – we know exactly how everything works. We maintain high standards of production and harvesting at the plantation in Vietnam, right up to the last element of the sales chain in our logistics center in Cieszyn. For us, coffee is not just an ordinary beverage; it's a new philosophy, a gift of nature, and a ritual.
96 Coffee is true coffee from a family plantation in Vietnam. The coffee is perfectly suited for espresso machines, moka pots, French Press, V60, Chemex, and of course... in our Vietnamese Phin. The main character of our coffees is Robusta, a small bean with great power and full flavor - it is perfectly balanced with Arabica to achieve a well-rounded taste and guarantees 0 acidity. Robusta imparts dessert flavors to the coffee, such as chocolate, nuts, and caramel. Thanks to careful roasting and selection of beans already at the coffee tree stage, we deliver these flavors in every cup. Our plantation's production is over 90% Robusta, so Arabica is truly a limited product, only 1-2 tons per year, hence our 100% Arabica is a very limited product.
From a natural plantation in the fascinating Đăk Lăk region of Vietnam. Through an intimate roastery in southern Poland. Our beans are hand-picked, sorted, and Rainforest Alliance certified. We care about the environment, our farmers, and our mission is sustainable development; we educate about the hard work of farmers, all stages of production, and we are transparent. When you buy from us - you know where your coffee comes from.
Single-origin coffee is coffee from one region, with a precisely mapped supply chain. Our coffee ripens in ideal natural conditions, which guarantees a depth of flavor. Imagine a hillside full of green, lush flora and characteristic, incredibly fertile volcanic soil. Picturesque waterfalls from which pure mountain water flows. Air warmed by a tropical climate. These are the ideal conditions in which our beans mature.
Discover the surroundings of the Đăk Lăk region. As many as 44 ethnic groups live in this exciting region. Each has its unique culture, history, and customs. Among them are the Ede people – who have inhabited the Đăk Lăk hills for hundreds of years. Representatives of this group are spiritually connected to their land, which is why they treat coffee beans as sacred gifts from nature.
We also apply the same philosophy, treating every bean as a gift of nature and caring for every element around it.

At 96 Coffee, we pride ourselves on offering high-quality coffees from our own plantation, where we care for our employees and farmers and strive to be as sustainable as possible in everything we do. Where is your plantation?
Our plantation is located in two places: Arabica grows at an altitude of 1200m above sea level in the Mang Den and Son La regions, while Robusta grows lower in the Dak Lak region. The Journey of the Grains

It all starts here!
Our coffee trees bloom in clusters of white flowers that smell of sweet jasmine. After years of care and thanks to our fertile soil, the trees grow to over 2 meters high!

Fruiting (February - March)
The coffee plant bears fruit only once a year. Initially, our "cherries" - the coffee fruits - appear green and firm to the touch. Over time, with ample sunshine and rainfall, they change color to dark red and ripen. This indicates that the fruits are ready for harvest and their flavors are fully developed.

Harvest (October - February)
In our region, Buon Ma Thuot and Dak Lak, coffee harvesting begins in October. On our plantation, we hand-pick only fully ripe (dark red) coffee cherries. Many producers do not sort their harvests so carefully – unripe or rotten fruits end up in the coffee sack, which means the beans can have many defects and taste very bitter or chemically in the cup.

Ripe coffee fruit
This is what ripe coffee cherries look like – they are sweet and refreshingly tart, and completely edible! By harvesting only ripe fruits, we guarantee the best coffee flavor and even roasting of each bean.

Raw/green bean
Each coffee cherry contains 2 coffee beans, which are glued together and covered with a sweet fruit coating. Our Robusta Honey is processed with the fruit pulp still adhering to the beans to add a more structured coffee flavor.

Naturally processed beans
Here are our beans, dried in the warm climate of Central Vietnam and under strict control on anti-gravity tables to prevent mold or unwanted complications during drying. Drying takes 1-3 months.

"Honey" Robusta beans
Our Robusta beans are "honey processed". This time-consuming process makes our coffee taste sweet and enhances Robusta's dessert-like flavours such as chocolate and nuts. With a careful roasting recipe, there is even a hint of caramel in every cup.

The beans are packed for shipment to our roastery in Poland!
We pack the processed beans ready for roasting in 60kg bags and send them straight to our local roastery in Southern Poland to achieve the freshest taste and aroma - freshly packaged for you!
